Happy Saturday! This may be my favorite morning of the week. This morning, it’s snowing again, my Dyson heater has a balmy temp in my office, and a candle lit. I opened my browser and the cover photo appeared, perfect! It’s from a browser tab that opens each day to gorgeous places around the world. The place that resonates most for me is with salty air, a blue-green ocean, palm trees and soft buff sand, just like the photo. I’m not sure which continent or coast, but I will find it!

I’ve got French Cooking Music playing, which is dreamy and fuels my wanderlust. I just had a matcha latte and baked a chocolate croissant. It’s a day to close a week, clear the space and have a more creative vibe. I went to instagram, looking for an influencer and checking out something for the space. As is always the case with instagram, I fell down the rabbit hole. I’ve been following @‌HattieKolp and spent a good hour with her, and my matcha and just-baked chocolate croissant.

Her style, travel, and adventure is stunning, gorgeous, just the creative way to start my Saturday! I found her account a few months ago and love it. She lives in NYC and this morning she’s traveling to a dreamy cay in the Bahamas. Her story to tell… And I’m an island girl. At this time in my life I’m deciding what the horizon looks like.

“With freedom comes responsibility,” is a quote that I adore, from Eleanor Roosevelt. What do I really want and where do I want to be? The vision is starting to reveal itself. We’ll see! In the meantime, I’m going to be right here, right now, and and my bestie and I would say…move some furniture.
