No two besties, siblings, or parents melt down at the same time.
My bestie and I had a doozie of a week, from one parent parenting, to aging parents, family diagnosis, a search for wellness, sick puppy, a broken printer, a broken phone, a broken phone that needed replacing, a flood, a snowstorm, college, spring breaks, and “I need a break” breaks.
One of us needed something this week and the other said, “I’ve got you!” There’s always someone that doesn’t melt down that can help, be your voice of reason, or just make life better.
That other example, siblings DO NOT freak out at the same time. There must be a sixth sense or a chip in them that prevent them from freaking out when that another is losing their marbles and the adult in charge is holding on by a single thread!
Valentine’s Day is tomorrow – we love love here and especially the “It’s ok, go ahead and breakdown buddy, I got you” kind!
